Video recording gets dark? topic

I've been noticing something very annoying with my rooted LG G3 (VS98510B). Whenever I record something, the camera goes dark as if I lost light. This happens with my girlfriend's G3 (t mobile) as well. This is especially noticeable in in-door areas, and it's even worse when I record something through Snapchat. I have the stock camera app, stock firmware (kit Kat 4.4.2) and no custom Rom or kernel. I've tried installing the modded camera app a few months ago but it made my camera app force close when I tried opening it. I might try installing that mod to see if it helps. What do you guys recommend? Are any of you experiencing this?

Please NOTE that a custom ROM with thr latest CM Theme Engine is needed inorder for the theme to work. Aditionally, a reboot is required to fully apply the theme.

INSTALLATION:
1. Download and install the theme
2. Go to Settings, select Themes
3. Find and select Neon Green
4. Check the features you want and click apply
5. A reboot is sometimes necessary in-order to make all the changes

Material Dark Theme topic

I am waiting to receive my N6 and doing some research. Is there a built in Dark theme for material design or just that color inversion setting?

For once I don't want to mod the phone other than getting the tether for free.

Would like the dark theme for better battery though.
