LG optimus 2x and its RAM topic

All of us know what is the worst thing in our phone. It is a low capacity of RAM.

Mainly developers are these ones who are struggling with this problem. That is why we should pay for their work :cyclops: .

Did you know that in Google Play Store is an app which allows you to disable services of various third-party or system apps?
Its name is Disable Service. You can find it on Google Play Store. And it is for free.
Have you ever heard about this app? I have never. But yesterday I got a chance to try it. I disabled some Google Play Services and freed almost 35mb of RAM. And without any bad consequences. I could run all of the Google apps such as Gmail, Keep, Youtube or Drive.

It is true that I have not noticed any big performance improvements but I think that there is no better way to disable services with no bad impact on system stability. Also there is always an option to enable services which were already disabled.

What services have I disabled?
Google Play services:

Please do not swear if something will not work. This is only my list of disabled services of Google Play services. Anyway, you can always disable more or less services than I.

Conclusion
There is no need of ramhack versions of kernels. You will have enough free RAM to switch between two or three running apps. With no ramhack version of kernel there is significant improvement in Graphic. Because that 32mb of RAM did not come from heaven. Camera app is smoother than ever before and you can record 720p videos without any annoying lags. That is my point of view.

I have been running latest cm10.1 by tonyp. The most stable version on my phone yet.
Personal settings:
Kowalski Manager:

• PSP power saving mode: ON


• Hotspot power management: ON


• Awake power management: ON


• TX Power: 14dBm


• SD Card read ahead: 768


• MultiCore Sched PM: No Balance PM


• Dynamic fsync: OFF

Performance:

• CPU governor: DYINTERACTIVE (battery friendly) or INTERACTIVE(better performance)


• I/O scheduler: ROW (read over write, default)

I have been using this ROM for 3 months. So as a daily-driver I can proudly recommend these settings and ROM too.

[Q] Root T-Mobile LG Optimus L90 topic

So i have been furiously searching for ways to root my LG L90 from T-Mobile, but so far it has been a PAIN :mad:
I have tried TowelRoot... Failed
Some asian program called RootGenius... Failed
and other tutorials using ADB like adb reboot recovery.
None of those have worked, BUT i am proud to say that i now CAN access my L90 from ADB, before it said that it was offline and now its labeled as "device" as its supposed to. So now i can browse the root but of course not modify anything (because im still not rooted). So i know im a step close to rooting and im wondering if anyone has something that can help finish this painful process thanks to T-Mobile.

I've used it on an HTC Legend before. Since most Android devices are mtd based...
However, the mtd layout on the P500 have the system partition sandwiched between boot and recovery:

In the latest CM11 from androidarmv6, system and userdata was swapped to gain 9.5MB along with the updated recovery.
Will AutoMTD be able to patch androidarmv6.org CWM? Resizing system/mtdblock2 would be impossible, but swapping and/or merging cache/mtdblock8 with mtdblock9 will be possible for a mere 60MB or so max

And then /cache can by symlinked to /data or to the sdcard?
Worth the trouble?

LG Optimus L5 ll topic

Hello,two days ago i found this new soft cyannoid mod ,so i've decided to search it for my phone , as you see in title i have an lg e460 ,i haven't found this driver on their site ,so im here to ask somebody with proffesion if :
1.i can install cyannoid on my phone ,i mean if theres any cyannoid for my phone or if i can use e610 one ,and work on mine
2.if someone tryed to install soft , have it ended succesfull ? or by failing :eek:
which are the risk i take if i try to instal e610 cyannoid mod on my phone,or if i wipe my phone reset factory ,can i install my soft back ,so i wont lose my phone . I've read on a site that the risks are big like i can end up with a dstroyed phone ,cant open it,cant get another soft ,even touchscreen wont light up again.

So if anyone tryed or anyone knows if i can for sure root my phone with that soft please tell me how ,I could easy try alone but this is my only phone so if i lose it i can say bye bye..
