The recent patnership between Jumia Kenya and Chinese mobile device manufacturer Innjoo has resulted in the launch of the Innjoo Note smartphone for the first time in the Kenyan market.
The Innjoo Note comes with a 5.5′ HD IPS 1280×720 display, front and rear cameras, the rear camera with 13MP and capable of shooting 1080p Full HD videos, a Quad-core processor and Dual SIM flexibility. Other features include a 3000mAh battery, bluetooth, Wi-Fi and GPS.
Retail pricing for the Innjoo Note was announced at Kshs 12,000 by Jumia Kenyas MD Parinaz Firozi.
Other Innjoo devices launched exclusively on Jumia include the Innjoo T1 7″ tablet with Dual SIM and 3G connectivity at Kshs 9,999 and the Innjoo F2 10.1″ tablet with Dual SIM and 8GB storage at Kshs 10,999.
This launch follows the launch of the Infinix Hot X507which is is at the time of writing being offered exclusively on Jumia Kenya at half price; Kshs 6,999 down from the normal price of Kshs 16,000. The smartphone was the latest product introduced into the Kenyan market by the Hong Kong firm Infinix. Infinix is a joint venture company between between Mobiwire (former French firm Sagem wireless) and Chinese company Earning Way.
