One of the things that drives me nuts about the LG G Watch R is how easily the black anodized coating on the outer rim scratches and looks like crap. I saw that a guy completely sanded the black off his watch but I didn't want to go that far. So all did was get some super fine (600) sandpaper and a sponge sander. I wrapped the sandpaper around the sponge sander and just flat sanded the outer rim until it was shiny silver, leaving the rest black. I protected the face with some blue painter's tape.
Took 5 minutes and I think it looks awesome. Now I don't have to worry about scratching the edge. Here's a pic:
