[Q] Advice/Thoughts on trading AT&T Edge for T-Mobile 4 topic

Got an offer to trade my AT&T Note Edge for an unlocked T-Mobile Note 4. Condition is like new on both phones I just really miss root. Should I hold out for root on the edge or just give in and do the whole T-Mobile on AT&T network ordeal?
