Hey Guys,
I have a question about using USB-OTG to USB/Ethernet adapter with the Nexus 6. I am running a nightly CM12 version 12-06022015. I have a USB-OTG to USB/Ethernet adapter. When I connect everything to the phone and the computer the phone recognizes the setup and I can view eth0 in the terminal and even assign a static IP to the eth0 interface. The adapter also shows activity lights and so does the ethernet port on the laptop. However, I cannot ping the computer. I have the ethernet port on the Laptop configured with the address 192.168.1.100/24 and the phone eth0 configured as 192.168.1.101/24 but the request times out trying to reach either device. The crazy part is that if I leave the laptop doing a continuous ping and reboot the phone through the terminal it pings until the phone is fully booted up and then it stops pinging and returns to the request timed out message!! I am at a loss. Any help would be awesome. Also sorry if this is in the wrong thread but it looked appropriate to post here.
