Stuck on Asus Boot screen topic

I was running an Omnirom nightly build. TWRP installed. I got a notification on my tablet saying an update was available. I thought sure, my battery life isn't great maybe this will help. Everything seemed to go fine, it ran the update by itself, but on trying to boot it is now stuck on the asus boot screen. The one with the loading bar at the bottom. I can't seem to boot into recovery. I also tried holding volume down and doing the reset with a paper clip, but it just goes back to the same screen.

Did I permanently brick this thing, any solutions? Thanks.
