So can a larger sd card than 64GB work in a Note 3 topic

I saw a thread where some fellow was selling 256 GB cards that ended up being a scam. I'm about to get a refurbed Note 3 from TMO and I'm just curious, will a 128GB card work? I read the posts to mean that it was possible. Anyone ever try?

I'll likely not get one. Just curious.
