I was looking to get this working and found the apk from a note2. It seems to be working in group play 2.5 but i don't have another device to test it with.
Anyway, copy the apk to /system/app/sharevideo.apk and change permissions to rw-r-r (the same as all the other apk's) and reboot (important!).
Run group play, pick create group, and you should see it in the list.
Let me know how you get on.
This will not run on android less than 4.3 nor group play less than 2.5. You might need the allshare fix too, not sure.
