[Q] T-Mobile ROM for SGH-I317 with 4.4.2, and Root--Please HELP topic

Hello all,

I have a sgh-i317 on 4.4.2 that I had unlocked from att. I am now on t-mobile plan. I would like to be able to tether, and make wifi calls on my note 2. I have searched throughout this forum, and found some things that may help, but I am new to this, and would to get it right the first time without bricking this phone. Any assistance is greatly appreciated.

1. what is the best root for this phone, again it is unlocked currently using tmobile sim?


2. once i root, what is the best rom that will give me the features that i desperately need, that being wifi calls, and
   tethering ability?


3. where do i find the rom and other things like radios and such that i need?
