[Q] Root without Wipe topic

Hello together,

I read recently a article about a Nexus, which may be rooted without wipe (Source: I cannot attach a link because it is the first post, so: "Root without Wiping - Android Forums at AndroidCentral" in google), so I wondered, if it is possible to do the same on the OPO.
