[Q] gps fix problem topic

Hello, I am having problem getting a gps fix. I had an xperia mini st15i ( smultron ) laying around with the latest stock firmware. So I tried different roms. Right now I am using cm-11-20141224-UNOFFICIAL-LegacyXperia-smultron . The problem is that with stock firmware everything was working including gps. After some installs of different roms, kernels and bootloaders the gps refuses to fix on any satellite. I reverted everything back to stock firmware inluding locking again the bootloader and doing repair install via sony software twice. I installed various utilities (gps status, gps doctor, gps aid and others). I tried with wifi on and off, sim inserted and not, leaving it for half an hour intervals between tries on a flat surface. Nothing works. I know that it is a software issue, I read and read all that I could in this forum and others but I do not know what else to try. Any help will be greatly appreciated!
