How do you search a particular thread on tapatalk? topic

When clicking on a particular thread on tapatalk (Latest Update)noticed the search button (icon) is missing .. Anyone else have this problem? Or could explain how to search

I believe it used to be where i circled in red .. i looked for a search option in the menu but found nothing .. TIA
