4.4.2 Update Questions topic

My phone is currently at 4.4.2, it is a LG G3 rooted with Purple Drake. I want to update. Root keeper does not detect root so I cannot keep it. I have survival mode enabled on SuperSU. Anything I can do to get Root keeper to work?
